Pamela Nygaard

President

I love comedy and improv  and am so thankful to be cast in several comedic performances with Stage West. Who knew a quiet accountant by day is really a ‘Rapper’, the diabolical ‘Ma Denny’, a ‘Crazy Aunt’ and a ‘Southern Drama Queen’? It is an honor to serve as President of Stage West and I am very excited about giving others the opportunity to be involved with theatrical art.

Stacy Steele

Vice President

Stacy has been active in community theatre since moving to Washington state in 1997. She has performed in many shows in Kitsap County before moving to Grays Harbor County. She started her career as a youngster and could be found "acting out" (or was that "acting up") with her siblings. Stacy is enjoying being involved with Stage West Community Theatre since it's inception. She looks forward to helping it grow and becoming a huge part of the arts in Ocean Shores and Grays Harbor County. When she is not acting on stage, Stacy is totally "in character" as a small animal Veterinarian at her Ocean Shores Animal Hospital. She can be found walking with her many dogs on the beach most any morning. Remember: Live theatre is best!

Ron Cooper

Past President

Well, I have always leaned toward the creative side of life. Through my childhood and early adulthood I was always drawing or painting something. In junior high I got involved playing bass guitar in a rock band and that continued for the next 20 years. I've played off and on till this day. I've also spent many years painting and customizing cars. I even got one of my creations on the cover of an international car magazine. The last few years I've turned my creativity towards wood working and helping to build most of the sets for our productions. I was lucky enough to be cast in the christmas play "A Little Something For Christmas" and "Over the River and Through the Woods". I hope to act in many more plays in the future.

Eric Bjella

Treasurer

Eric has been performing in various musical groups and theatrical productions for most of his life. Past theatre experience has included two seasons with The Gold Nugget Review (a musical melodrama) in Juneau, Alaska, parts in eight productions (one lead) with First City Players in Ketchikan, Alaska and in March of 2010, Eric performed along side John Pratt in "The Dock Brief" as part of the newly formed Stage West Theatre's first season. He had the pleasure to direct the cast of "A Hillybilly Christmas Carol" and play a part in John Pratt's adaptation of O. Henry's "Gift of the Magi" during the 2010 series of Christmas plays produced by Stage West Theatre. He is excited to see Stage West Community Theatre continue to grow and attract new actors, directors, technical and stage craft volunteers and, most importantly, audience members to live community theatre in Ocean Shores, WA.
