Become Active in Community Theater
Have you ever attended a live performance and thought, “Gee, that looks like so much fun!” Well, it is so much fun! Community theater is the perfect place to get your feet wet. Whether you are interested in acting, directing, or working behind the scenes as a set designer or builder, finding and managing props, working on costumes and helping dress the cast, or learning the lighting and sound effects, this is the perfect place to learn! We can always use the help, and we cannot grow without new hands putting things together! Contact us any time and let us know where you see yourself next season!
Authors of “Dixie Swim Club” and “Golden Girls” episodes, Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope, Jamie Wooten bring this delightful comedy of four unique single Southern women, all needing to escape the sameness of their day-to-day routines, together by Fate – and an impromptu happy hour – and decide it’s high time to reclaim the enthusiasm for life they’ve lost through the years. Over the course of six months, filled with laughter, hilarious misadventures, and the occasional liquid refreshment, these middle –aged women successfully bond and find the confidence to jumpstart their new lives. Together, they discover lasting friendships and a
renewed determination to live in the moment, and most importantly, realize it’s never too late to make new old friends.
